    Nothing......one big dump.......

The biggest dump I've ever seen / we checked in and drove away, we didn't even open the door (the room door # was a piece of paper taped on the door) plus it was nice to watch a guy in the parking lot selling drugs / this place is embarrassing / this isn't a motel, its a flop house for whores, drug dealers and who knows what else. We drove to Vancouver, booked another room and spent the night in peace without the worry of being jumped or solicited by the other guest.......

    Great

I needed one night in Portland before my flight left really early the next morning. I was looking for something close to the airport and cheap. THIS WAS IT. I really enjoyed this place for the money. I don't know how great the area was- It seemed like there was a lot going on outside- The outside of the motel looked decent, but the inside was totally updated (except the bathroom, but it was still nice and clean) with new stuff.

It seemed like there were people just hanging around outside- Some on the corner and some across the street at the gas station. I felt I had to be a bit on edge when I walked across the street by myself (a woman- late 20s).

    Very good

Good value for money. It was the perfect pit stop on a long road trip. A great roadside type of motel. The decor is dated, but I'd rather pay a fair price for a clean comfortable room then a high price for something with modern decor.

    Location, Microwave, Fridge.

Very poor WiFi and non existence of room service.

Location was relatively convenient to downtown Portland and price was very competitive--cheapest rate we found in the vicinity. The room was fairly quiet, bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the mini fridge that was provided. We'd definitely stay here again if we needed a no-frills place to crash and didn't plan on spending much time in the room.

The front desk folks seemed preoccupied and not in a good mood. Our room smelled a bit like stale smoke + bathroom air freshener, the TV didn't work, and the sheets on the bed seemed dirty (there were hairs on there when we first pulled back the covers).

    Very good

The motel staff was very friendly and helpful. It located only a few minutes from the airport and car rental locations. Comfortable bed and free WiFi for cheap.

The motel is a little old and shows the effects of time, but you are paying a one star price so completely expected.

    Great

    Rooms were clean and comfortable.

WiFi did not work even though it was available. Could not connect. Location of motel is not the nicest but the price was reasonable.

Very far from the center (not centrally located)

    Very good

Quiet, good sized rooms, 10-15 min to city center. Beter than expected considering the low price.

Some broken lamps and no coffee machine.

    Very good

The room had all I needed - a clean room, a good size desk, king size bed, large fridge, microwave oven, storage space, free wi-fi and a/C. Nothing fancy, but for $52 a night, it was a great deal, and the staff was helpful.

The days were very hot, so the a/c was a great bonus - otherwise it'd been stuffy inside. The street level rooms have direct windows to parking / street. If you like to keep curtains/windows open, get the upper rooms (but they might be hotter in summer...) No complaints here, it's a good deal.

    Very good

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great as did the tv.

The only thing we didn't like about the Cameo Motel - Portland is the location. It was not what we expected, not knowing about the area and that is the only reason we probably won't return. Though they did do their best to make our stay a comfortable one the local surroundings made us uncomfortable during the night. This is not a complaint about the motel & staff, it's just not an area of Portland that we would like to stay in again.

I guess I would say the price but even at a budget level I did not feel that I got my money's worth.

Almost too many to name, in short- very slow drain in bathroom sink that regurgitated black, icky stuff, lights that had no outlet thus a very dark room, large cigarette burns in the blankets, no clock, black mold in the bathroom, a window that is off the track which almost fell out, very thin walls so could hear neighbors very easily and least of all no ice machine.

    Very good

Very nice staff & nice, comfortable rooms. I really enjoyed my stay here and it is very close to PDX, so it was easy and cheap to get there by cab. It is also close to restaurants and very affordable.
